Michael Booker, MD, MBA
Michael Booker, MD, MBA is a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist with subspecialty training in Body Imaging. He completed his radiology residency and fellowship training at the University of California, San Diego, where he served as chief resident and was awarded the John R. Amberg Award for Clinical Excellence. He completed his undergraduate, master’s degree, and medical school studies at the University of Southern California, where he was elected to the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha and national honor society Phi Kappa Phi.
Dr. Booker is active in healthcare economics and was an American College of Radiology (ACR) Moorefield Fellow in Economics and Health Policy. He currently serves as the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Advisor to the Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC), member of the RUC Practice Expense Subcommittee, ACR Economics Committee on Reimbursement, and ACR HOPPS Committee.
