Our 24 radiologists offer a full range of expertise and subspecialty depth to lead the drive toward more personalized care in medicine. Subspecialty training is not required to read imaging studies; however we believe this provides an added measure of assurance and quality in our interpretations.
In the case of interventional radiology, subspecialty training is required, and our interventional team is constantly expanding their knowledge in this area as new, minimally invasive treatments are introduced and become clinically proven.
Subspecialization requires advanced fellowship training over the course of 1-2 years. This is in addition to their residency, bringing the total years of education and training for a subspecialized radiologist to a minimum of 13 years!
