Sharjeel H. Sabir, MD

Dr. Sabir is board certified in both diagnostic and interventional radiology. He received his medical degree with honors from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. His clinical internship was completed at Methodist Hospital in Houston and residency in radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He served as chief resident at Massachusetts General Hospital. He received fellowship training in interventional radiology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.​

Dr. Sabir subsequently joined the faculty at MD Anderson where he held several leadership roles including quality officer for department of interventional radiology.  He is the President of Radiology Medical Group and Blue Ocean Imaging.  He is also the Founder and Medical Director of Precision Therapy

He has won numerous honors and awards throughout his career, participated or led numerous clinical research projects and is author or co-author of more than two dozen peer-reviewed original research articles, abstracts and editorials. He has lectured nationally on numerous interventional radiology subjects.

Dr. Sabir performs the full range of interventional radiology and interventional oncology therapies with a special interest at his IHS practice in managing uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, pelvic venous reflux, varicoceles, vertebral compression fractures, and venous malformation.
