The imaging “modality” (MRI, CT, ultrasound, etc.) is determined by your doctor, or by your doctor in consultation with one of our radiologists, and based on that test’s ability to provide the information and images needed to help us accurately diagnose your condition.

Do I need a doctor’s order before scheduling an imaging exam?
Yes. Most diagnostic imaging exams require an order from your healthcare provider prior to scheduling except for screening mammograms, screening CT cardiac calcium scoring and CT low dose lung cancer screening.
