Discontinued Exams Update!

In order to better serve our community and patients our Radiologist and Clinical leadership teams have decided to discontinue the services listed below. We will continue to honor and schedule the patients for orders we have already received.

Effective March 24, 2023, we will no longer accept new orders for the following exams:

  • CT
    • CT Sacroiliac Joint Injection
    • CT Lumbar Spine Facet Joint Injection
    • CT Guided Tendon Sheath/Ligament Injection
    • CT Guided Trigger Point Injection (1-2 Sites)
    • CT Guided Bone Lesion Biopsy
    • CT Bone Mineral Density Study
    • CT Myelogram Lumbar, Cervical, Thoracic and Total Spine
    • CT Pelvic Cystogram
  • RF (Fluoro)
    • RF Aspiration/Injection of Knee, Ankle, Foot, Shoulder, Wrist and Elbow
    • RF Lumbar Spine Puncture w/ Fluoro Guidance
    • RF Lumbar Spine Foraminal Block w/ Fluoro Guidance
    • RF Lumbar Spine Epidural Steroid Injection
    • RF Hip Steroid Injection
    • RF Myelogram Lumbar, Cervical, Thoracic and Total Spine
  • Nuclear Medicine (NM)
    • NM Hepatobiliary Imaging (IHS will only perform Hepatobiliary Imaging with Ejection Fraction)
    • NM Renal Flow/Function (IHS will only perform Renal Flow/Function with Lasix)
    • NM Limited Bone Scan (IHS will only perform 3 Phase or SPECT for Limited Bone Imaging)
    • NM MUGA
    • NM Thyroid Uptake and Scan, Uptake Only, and Image Only
    • NM Thyroid Ablation
    • NM Thyroid Mets Whole Body
    • NM Thyroid Mets Whole Body – Post Ablation
    • NM Lung Perfusion
    • NM Liver Imaging
    • NM Indium WBC Scan Whole Body and Limited
    • NM Tc-99m WBC Limited Scan
  • Ultrasound (US)
    • US Venous Reflux Lower Extremity
    • US Saline Infusion Sonohysterography
    • US Saline Infusion Sonohysterography w/ Prior Pelvic
  • Interventional Radiology (IR)
    • IR PICC Line Placement
    • IR PICC Line Change
    • IR Sialogram

This decision was not arrived at lightly. We understand that this may create an inconvenience to patients for the above listed exams, and we apologize for any disruption this may cause. If circumstances change in the future, we may consider reimplementing these services.
