Murray A. Reicher, MD
Murray A. Reicher, M.D. is a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist with subspecialty CAQ (Certified Added Qualifications) in Neuroradiology. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was awarded a National Science Foundation Research Grant and Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Reicher then headed south to earn his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He returned to UCLA for his Radiology residency and fellowship. During this time, he received numerous prestigious research awards, published several scientific articles, and co-authored the first textbook on MRI of the knee. He also published the first scientific papers regarding high resolution MR imaging of the joints and participated in the invention of one the most commonly used techniques for magnetic resonance imaging of the spine.
After completing a Neuroradiology fellowship at UCLA, Dr. Reicher joined Imaging Healthcare Specialists in 1986. He continues to make numerous significant contributions of teaching, scientific publications, and research in the area of Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal MRI, and related MRI technologies. Dr. Reicher co-authored the first textbook on MRI of the wrist and has conducted over 50 invited presentations. He has participated in numerous commercial research and development efforts with companies including General Electric, Shimadzu, Medical Advances, and Surgical Dynamics.
