Lori L. Baker, MD

Lori Baker, MD, is a board-certified Diagnostic Radiologist with two years of fellowship training in Neuroradiology. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with multiple honors including Phi Beta Kappa, University of California Regents Scholar, and was the recipient of the UCLA Women’s Faculty Outstanding Undergraduate Scholarship. Dr. Baker received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). While at UCSD, she performed a year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging research. She then completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at Stanford University where she was elected Chief Resident. Dr. Baker remained in the Bay Area for a Neuroradiology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she was the recipient of the American Society of Neuroradiology Basic Science Research Fellowship.

Dr. Baker returned to San Diego and joined Imaging Healthcare Specialists in 1992. She has authored 26 scientific papers and has participated in presenting over 30 papers at major radiology meetings. She also enjoys teaching and has been a guest lecturer at a variety of radiologic and medical events. Dr. Baker was voted one of San Diego’s “Top Doctors” by the San Diego County Medical Society.
