Job Description

We are actively seeking experienced and professional MRI Technologists.  Candidates should be able to independently perform outpatient MRI exams and procedures.  Current openings are for various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include adherence to all established policies and procedures, proper screening of all individuals prior to entering the MRI environment, checking the scan schedule daily, communication with Radiologist concerning schedule and protocols for scans, scanning patients, supply inventory and ordering, maintain logs in regard to maintenance of MR scanners and ACR requirements, communication with Field Engineers from respective companies.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding patient care in an efficient and compassionate manner to enhance the patient’s overall experience and meet the organization’s business goals by:

  • Performing and maintaining quality assurance requirements in compliance with the ACR and State/Federal requirements
  • Proactively monitoring daily/weekly schedules, assure appropriate protocols are performed, and
  • Maintaining inventory control and communicating any facility and/or equipment issues.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience as an MRI Technologist in an outpatient radiology practice or hospital setting. Experience with GE, Hitachi and/or Siemens equipment. Candidates must be ARRT and/or ARMRIT registered, MR, CPR certified, and CA Venipuncture certified.  All candidates must be available to work nights and weekends.
