Job Description

Responsible for excellent delivery of patient care by processing patients and scheduling appointments accurately. Additionally, the front desk representative answers phones, confirms appointments, protocols exams, communicates with appropriate departments and individuals regarding matters related to patient care, and/or referring physician requests, follows workflow and company guidelines, collects patients, and enters correct billing/insurance information for all encounters.

Responsibilities

-Greet, process patients, and ensure accuracy of information input by meeting all registration and billing criteria

-Answers incoming calls to center and schedule appointments for patients and/or referring physician offices

-Communicate effectively with patients, referring physician offices, and/or other departments regarding delay or issues relating to patient appointment

-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

-Associates Degree or Medical Assistant Certification

-2 years experience in healthcare field

-Proficient in MS Office and eHR
